Lena Jenkins is a boundary-pushing novelist and screenwriter celebrated for reimagining the presence of Black women in both speculative fiction and contemporary drama.

Raised in Atlanta within a family of storytellers and radio pioneers, Lena crafts narratives where legacy, innovation, and Afro-futurism entwine.

Lena is dedicated to mentoring young Black women writers through grassroots workshops and is recognized for her genre-bending, cinematic approach.

Her stories challenge norms and envision new futures for Black literature and film.

Her debut novel; What Momma Told Me About White Boys will be released through TMJ Books February 2026.
